A Semi Vegetarian Wish

I love Panda Express but it's Chinese American food, not authentic Chinese food, and trends heavy on the meat component. I frequently find myself saying "heavy on the veggies" when I order there and often still feel like it's too much meat.

So it's sort of the Asian Burger King and is mostly meat and carbs. Instead of French fries and hamburger buns, you get rice and noodles. It's still more veggies than you are likely to get in from a meal at a burger joint, but I have fantasized for years and years about something that would be more vegetarian friendly because when I eat there regularly, it's simply too much meat for me.

I like broccoli and I like the beef broccoli dish better than super greens, but I somewhat often eat only the broccoli and none of the beef.

I like their Sweet Fire Chicken, which contains pineapple and peppers, but it's way too much chicken.

They seem to no longer put carrots in their beef broccoli. Most beef broccoli dishes contain carrots. I'm happy to add shredded carrots and broccoli to spicy vegan ramen in a cup.

So I have an extremely half baked idea of a restaurant with the VEGGIES part of Asian dishes and the meat part and the sauces ordered separately. Because I want more veggies, more quantity and variety of veggies, and a little meat. But with FLAVOR like beef broccoli has. I like gravy, though I don't eat that much meat usually.

I'm not vegetarian but when I was growing up, dinner was a plate filled with potatoes, vegetables and bread and a little meat and good luck finding that anywhere today.
